Leave Cookies Out

Leave cookies and milk out for Santa

It is a Christmas Eve tradition in lots of homes: before bed, children leave a little snack for Santa, who has a very long night of flying ahead of him, and a carrot for Rudolph and the other reindeer. In Leave Cookies Out you can set the plate yourself, by the fire.

Drag treats from the tray onto Santa’s plate: a chocolate chip cookie, a gingerbread man, a star biscuit or a jam heart. Put a glass of milk beside it, lay a carrot across the front for Rudolph, and lean a little note against the plate. Each treat snaps neatly into its place. You can also tap a treat to put it straight on the plate. Your plate is saved on this device, so it is still there when you come back.

On Christmas morning, come back and look. The fire has burned down to glowing embers, the cookies are just crumbs, the milk glass is empty, only the leafy top of the carrot is left, and there are sooty boot prints from the fireplace to the table. Best of all, Santa has written a thank-you note, in his own curly handwriting, with your first name on it if you typed it in. Cannot wait? Press Peek at Christmas morning to see it now.

Grown-ups can unlock a longer personalised note for $0.99 that mentions the exact cookies chosen and the reindeer’s favourite treat. It is behind a grown-up check, and no account or email is needed.
