Explore Santa’s village and learn real facts
North Pole Explorer is a big picture of Santa’s village that you can explore. Drag or swipe sideways to look around, or use the arrow buttons and the arrow keys. There is Santa’s house with smoke curling from the chimney, the Toy Workshop with its conveyor belt, the stable and the reindeer, elf huts, a giant Christmas tree, the post box for letters, a crackling fire pit, a snowman, the sleigh, a frozen pond, and the northern lights dancing in the sky.
Tap anything to open a fact card. Each thing has four facts, so press Next fact to learn more. The facts are true and written for children: why reindeer noses warm the air, why snowflakes have six sides, why the North Pole has months of darkness, what makes the aurora glow, and how sea ice floats on the Arctic Ocean.
Every new thing you tap gets a gold star and adds to your count. Find all 18 to earn the North Pole Expert badge. Your stars are kept on this device only. When you have explored the drawing, visit the live 3D village on the home page to watch the elves and reindeer at work in real time.
